The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is a purpose-built convention venue catering from the very large to smaller events. It is located in the heart of Brisbane’s cultural precinct – South Bank. The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre is in an enviable location with many of Australia's top tourism and natural attractions on its doorstep. Brisbane is a fast-growing cosmopolitan city known for its vibrant and relaxed lifestyle. As Australia’s largest sub-tropical city, Brisbane has more sunny days than Florida and warmer winter days than the Bahamas. The Convention Centre is located within the 17 hectare riverside South Bank Precinct - unique for its focus on creative, cultural, entertainment and lifestyle activities. Delegates can relax and enjoy South Bank’s many attractions and restaurants. The VET Teaching 2010 program will be conducted on the Plaza Level located up the escalators from the Centre’s main reception located at the corner of Merivale and Glenelg Streets. Our registration desk will be located on the Plaza Level and you will be directed to the Conference rooms from there, Special conference only discounted accommodation rates will be available for booking via the online conference registration form.
